Switching
What the import saves you
The cost of switching is not the subscription price: it is the time spent rebuilding forms and bringing back history. Both import.
- Your forms, with a report
- A Kizeo form export is read and converted, field by field. The report says what was taken as is, what was converted, and what needs your decision.
- Your history
- CSV and Excel exports import as submissions, validated line by line, with the list of refused lines and their reason.
- Your naming habits
- Imported field keys are kept when they are usable: your pivot tables do not all have to be rebuilt.
Deciding with open eyes
When Kizeo Forms remains the right choice
There are situations where we are not the better choice, and you will find out anyway. Better beforehand.
- If you need a track record
- A tender demanding comparable customer references is not won with a young product. We have none to present.
- If you deploy on Windows
- The field app is iOS and Android. The web console fills forms, but that is not the same as a desktop application.
- If you need nine languages tomorrow
- We have two. The next ones are handled case by case, with a stated lead time.
How long does a migration take?
It depends on the number of forms and the complexity of the calculations. The import is immediate; the time goes into reading the field-by-field report and deciding on the flagged conversions. The migration page details the sequence.
Can both run in parallel?
Yes, and that is the careful way: one form imported into Rondea, filled twice for a week, compared against the documents the old tool produces.
