Migrating from Kizeo Forms
Changing field-form tools is mostly about not losing the work already done. The import brings your forms in as drafts, you review them, you publish. Your crews only learn one new thing: the application.
How it goes
1. You export
From Kizeo, export one form or several as a file. We ask for no access to your Kizeo account.
2. We import
Each form becomes a draft in your account, with a field-by-field report: what came across as it was, what was matched to a near-equivalent type, what needs your decision.
3. You review and publish
Nothing is published behind your back. You open the draft in the builder, fix what the report flagged, and publish when you are ready.
What comes across
- Pages, sections and field order
- Labels, help text and default values
- Required fields and simple validation rules
- Choice lists, including those backed by external data
- Tables (sub-forms) with their columns
- Calculations and display conditions, translated into the expression engine
What differs, and why
Versions are frozen
A published version never changes: answers already sent stay readable exactly as they were filled in. You edit the draft, then publish a new version.
Rights go through groups
Who fills, who reads, who corrects is decided per group and per form, not user by user. A site that changes crew is settled in one move.
Calculations are checked at publication
A formula pointing at a deleted field is refused when you publish, not discovered on site.
What we do not claim to do
The import brings the forms, not the history of answers: your past data stays with Kizeo until you export its content, and we then take it as an ordinary data import attached to a "legacy" version. Not every one of Kizeo's most specific features has an equivalent; the import report names them rather than dropping them silently.
Try before deciding
Drop a photo of one of your sheets on the demonstration: in a minute you will see what a form looks like here, with no account and no appointment.
