A safety walk that leaves proof
Every point is rated, every finding is photographed where it is observed, and every corrective action has an owner and a date. The score is calculated during the walk.
What it has to contain
- Check points identical from one visit to the next, or nothing is comparable.
- Three possible answers, including not applicable: an inapplicable point must not weigh on the score.
- A mandatory photo on a non-conforming point.
- A corrective action with an owner and a due date.
- The option to stop the site, and to say why.
How it is used
Walk the grid
Point by point, on foot. Not-applicable points are left out of the calculation.
Photograph the finding
The photo attaches to the line that describes it, not sent separately.
Close and sign
The score shows, the report goes out, and open actions are tracked.
