Builder

A form that evolves without breaking its history

The hard part of a business form is not creating it, it is keeping it alive for three years without making last year's submissions unreadable. Rondea's builder is built around that constraint.

Compose

Fields that speak the field's language

The catalogue covers what a technician actually produces: measurements, evidence, signatures, identifiers read off a piece of equipment.

Evidence and identity
Photo with annotation and caption, sketch, voice note, finger signature with timestamp, position with its accuracy, barcode, QR, NFC tag.
Structures
Pages, collapsible sections, repeatable tables with aggregates, reference lists of customers or parts with autofill from the chosen row.
Rules
Display conditions, conditional requirement, conditional read-only, default values, regular-expression validation.

Check

A broken formula is refused at publish time

Calculations are typed and compiled the moment you publish. That is the difference between a problem found by you, in the console, and a problem found by a technician, on a roof, at four in the afternoon.

An expression engine, not macros
Sums, averages, counts, dates, text, conditions. An expression that adds a date to a piece of text does not publish.
The same rules everywhere
The engine that evaluates a condition in the console is the one that evaluates it on the phone and the one that recomputes on save, server side. The record cannot contradict what the worker signed.
A list lookup inside a formula
A formula can fetch a row from a reference list — a rate, a threshold — without loading the whole list, and with no network in the field.

Keep alive

Publishing does not rewrite the past

A published version is frozen, and field keys never change. It is constraining to write, and it is what makes a history usable and defensible.

Old submissions stay readable
A submission renders with the form that produced it, not with today's. Ten edits later, March's report is still March's report.
Exports stay stable
An export column maps to a field key, and a field key does not move. Your pivot tables survive the form's redesign.
A draft before publishing
Work in progress does not reach phones until you publish, and publishing says what changed.
Can we start from an existing form?

Yes. A Kizeo form imports with a field-by-field report; a scanned paper form, a PDF or a Word file are read and produce a draft, each field marked as taken or guessed. A sentence works too: "site safety check with photo, signature and date" produces a draft to correct.

What happens to a submission if I delete a field?

Nothing: the submission belongs to the version it was filled with, and that version keeps the field. Deletion only concerns submissions to come.

Build one here, without an account

The builder is loaded on the home page with a real template. Add a field, change a condition: nothing is saved, and you will know in two minutes whether the product suits you.
